Our Space

The United Methodist Church of Patchogue has stood as a beacon of faith and community since 1889, when it was first constructed in the heart of downtown Patchogue. Built in the Gothic Revival style, the church features classic pointed-arch windows, steeply pitched roofs, and a commanding bell tower that rises above Main Street, signaling both our history and our hope.

The church’s brick exterior, accented by detailed stonework and arched entryways, reflects the craftsmanship of the late 19th century. As you approach the building, you’ll be welcomed by landscaped grounds with seasonal flowers, a manicured lawn, and a sense of peace that invites all to come as they are.

One of the most treasured features of our building is the collection of original Tiffany stained-glass windows, designed by the world-renowned Tiffany Studios. These windows—rich in color, detail, and symbolism—fill the sanctuary with breathtaking light and beauty, making it a sacred and artistic treasure for all who enter.

Inside, the sanctuary features traditional wooden pews, a central aisle, and an elevated chancel area, creating a warm and reverent atmosphere for worship. The church also includes a spacious fellowship hall, classrooms, offices, and accessible entrances, ensuring that everyone can participate fully in the life of our church.

Whether you come to worship, learn, serve, or simply take in the history and beauty of the space, the United Methodist Church of Patchogue offers a place where tradition meets today, and all are welcome.
